People on the Train
by Clare Pooley

This comes as a highly-recommended read, scoring an average eight out of ten. We found the writing good and loved the well-drawn characters and the story of how this group of commuters broke the rule and started talking to each other, how they got t  know and rely on each other.  It is all too easy to judge the strangers around us and not be aware of what is going on in their lives and the secrets they keep.  This book brought it all to life.   An easy, enjoyable read with at least two of our group ordering more books by the author.

Our next read is: The Secretary by  Renee Knight
